Quill 1.1.0 Latest
Newa short welcome on first launch. It explains each permission in plain words before macOS asks, then runs a 10-second sound check of your microphone and your Mac’s sound (nothing is saved). Reopen it any time from Help › Sound Check.
Newoptional “Record this call?” card. Turn it on and Quill offers to record when Zoom, Teams, FaceTime, Slack or a browser call starts using your microphone. It never records by itself, stays until the call ends, and you can say “Never for this app”.
Newtell their voices apart. When several people share their side, Quill can split it into Voice 1, Voice 2… by how high or low each voice is. It does this only when the voices are clearly different, and says so when they aren’t. Name each voice, or right-click any line to fix it.
Newa gentler consent step. Start with “Copy Heads-up & Record” or “I’ve Told Them — Record”; a small strip on the live page reminds you if you skipped it, and each call notes how people were told.
NewExport sheet (⌘E) with Markdown, PDF, RTF or Word, and a choice of summary, transcript, timestamps and email. Also Export All Calls (⇧⌘E) into a folder, and Copy as Markdown (⌥⌘C).
Improvedsearch is much faster on large libraries, and can be narrowed to calls or notes and to words said by you or by them. Results jump to the moment.
Fixedon long calls, the live transcript could drop a word at each 50-second restart of the recogniser. Each new stretch now overlaps the last by 3 seconds, and the overlap is written once.
FixedSettings screenshots now show the tab bar.
